Plot Summary
The movie revolves around Dasru (Manoj Bajpayee), a former extremist who has left his violent past behind and is living a peaceful life with his wife and daughter in Jharkhand. However, his past catches up with him when he is targeted by a ruthless leader of a rebel group who wants him dead for betraying their cause. Dasru has no choice but to flee with his daughter across half of the country to save her.
Along the way, he encounters various challenges and dangers that test his survival skills and his bond with his daughter. Dasru was once a tribal youth who fell in love with Vaano (Chatterjee) in Jharkhand but had to leave his village due to a violent conflict.
He moved to Mumbai, where he worked as a laborer at a construction site with Vaano and their daughter. However, his life turned upside down when he witnessed a murder committed by a powerful politician’s son.
He decided to flee with his daughter, leaving behind his wife, who was killed by the goons. On his way, he meets Ratnakar (Ayyub), a journalist who is also on the run after exposing a mining scam.
